These lightweight and low profile putting gates are perfect for practicing your putting indoors or outdoors. The pack of 3 includes:
- Green gate with a 60mm opening
- Yellow gate with a 55mm opening
- Red gate with a 50mm opening
These gates are freestanding so can be used indoors and outdoors without needing to pierce the ground. If you want to secure the gates to the putting green simply push a tee through the tee hole at either side.
The gates can be used individually or combined to create a range of drills and practice games, while the different sizes allow you to vary the difficulty.
Here are a four ways you can use our putting gates to get the most out of your practice:
- Place a single gate 4 - 8 feet away and practice putting a ball through the gate. Once you've got the hang of it, increase the distance and reduce the size of the gate to increase the difficulty and test your start line control.
- Find a breaking putt and place a gate at the apex of the break. Instead of fixating on the hole focus on rolling the ball through the gate and letting gravity do the work. This is a great drill for developing green reading and pace control skills. Try varying the position of the gate to force you to hit firmer putts to take out some of the break and vice versa. Varying your practice like this will enhance your ability to match up pace and line.
- Use a gate in conjunction with our putting path guides. The path guides will give you instant feedback to ensure you're striking the ball with the middle of the putter face while the gate will give you instant start line feedback.
- Mark a golf ball with our triple line marker. Line the ball up and putt towards a gate. If you've produced a neutral putting stroke you'll see the lines on the golf ball rolling end over end and the ball will pass through the gate.
